I brought one of my bestie's here for breakfast/brunch. She's from out of town. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The food was delicious, the wait staff were friendly, and the restaurant was clean and bright; good energy.

Love this little gem! Service was fantastic. Our server checked in on us frequently and someone I assume is one of the chefs was walking around and checking up on tables. The raspberry hibiscus tea is worth the price. When I go to other restaurants and get fruit iced tea at that price point, I usually end up disappointed. But the raspberry hibiscus tea was great! You can tell it’s homemade: perfect sweetness, natural fruit flavor, with a hint of floral hibiscus and the taste of real tea leaves. I would suggest trying a dish with the smoked herring. It reminds me of Filipino tinapa, and has a very nostalgic taste. It’s like a more savory smoked salmon. The location seems unassuming but the interior is cozy and well-decorated. Definitely give Estime’s Cafe a try! I can’t wait to try another dish.

We found this place by happenstance as near our hotel and wow, what a find. My boyfriend had the special, honey sriracha fried chicken and French toast and I had the Mayor, the breakfast sandwich with sausage egg and cheese. The sandwich is flat out one of the best I’ve ever had. The fried chicken was also amazing. Honestly, everything we ate was good. We met the chef who is very nice and he told us he is opening a steak restaurant. What a treasure New Jersey has here!

I came in around 1:00 pm and left at around 2:00 pm as a solo diner. The food was delicious but I must’ve come at a super busy time because it took 30 minutes for the waitress to take my order. Both waitresses were super nice though!! I got the shrimp & grits and chorizo tacos. The food reminded me of my father’s cooking which is great because he was a Haitian chef in the past. Both were delicious dishes and I’d highly recommend those who like Haitian cuisine to come here!

This find was definitely a diamond in the rough! Based on its location I didn’t expect what I got. I literally felt like I was on vacation. They have a nice quaint ambiance inside for starters. Everything from the plates to the glassware was exquisite. Our server was very nice and informative. She did a great job checking in on us throughout the meal without being overbearing. Now for the food.. listen, everything was a 10, the grits were a 7, but that’s fine cuz they still had nice flavor. But that slab bacon SLAPPED on every level, as did the homemade honey Sriracha sauce that accompanied it. The lamb chops were seasoned to perfection, and the mint sauce they provided with it was so BRIGHT, took my tastebuds on a fantasy ride (pause). The eggs were made with love, as were the home fries. They even have great coffee, it was creamy (pause). Overall great dining experience and will be sure to return and suggest this spot to others!!

IMHO This is the best breakfast and brunch place in the area (at least among all the places I have tried. The quality of the food and the prep are definitely a level above. The servers were super friendly. A must try.

OMG, such a hidden gem! I wanted to have brunch today to celebrate my mom's heavenly birthday. I wanted good food, good atmosphere, and an intimate atmosphere. Estime's exceeded my first time experience! Also, they're a BYOB! The service was professional, polite, and timely. I was disappointed that they didn't have the Haitian Salted Cod (Mori). So I ordered the Lamb Chops with eggs and home fries. Very flavorful and delicious. We also ordered a traditional breakfast: bacon, eggs, home fries. Delicious! They let me know that they only serve dinner & desserts on Fridays and Saturdays. Also, that menu is limited. I will be back for dinner.
